Kelly McCullough

Kelly McCullough worked for 35+ years in senior public media management culminating as General Manager of Arizona PBS from October 2008 to June 2017. Prior he oversaw all revenue and marketing & development.

As General Manager, McCullough was responsible for oversight of all aspects of Arizona PBS, including content production, programming, broadcasting and distribution, engineering as well as …strategic planning, community partnerships, business development, programming and multimedia operations. As head of marketing & development, his day-to-day operations included membership, major giving, corporate sponsorship/underwriting, planned giving, events, business partners, affinity marketing and new business ventures.

Within PBS, he chaired the advisory committee of the Contributor Development Partnership for many years. He also serves on the Affinity Group Coalition Revenue Committee as well as the PBS Interactive Digital Opportunities Task Force. He co-chaired of the Public Television Major Market Group Interactive Media committee and was past chair of the PBS Development Advisory Committee.

During his time working within PBS, McCullough has received 20 PBS awards for development and promotion and seven Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards. He also has been a speaker numerous times at various conferences and other industry meetings.

McCullough earned his B.S. in broadcast management from The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University and his M.B.A. from ASU’s W.P. Carey School of Business. He is an inductee in the Cronkite School Alumni Hall of Fame.

In the community, he has served on the Arizona Office of Tourism Advisory Council, the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits Board of Directors, the Arizona Tourism & Lodging Association Board, the

EVIT media advisory board, the Taliesin West Board of Stewards, and the Endowment Board for ASU’s Cronkite School.
