Dr. Galat performs minimally invasive, tissue sparing, total knee replacement using the Stryker Mako robot. The Mako total knee replacement robot assists Dr. Galat in picking the perfect sized implants, and in drilling and making cuts with percise robotic accuracy.
The Tissue sparing approach results in dramatically less pain and faster recovery after surgery. Less pain means less pain medicine.
When the arthritis is isolated to a single compartment, Dr. Galat performs partial knee replacement.
