Sumit Dewanjee, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, as well as the treatment of fractures. After completing his undergraduate work at an Ivy League University (Cornell), he earned a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine (1998) and followed with Residency in Orthopedic Surgery initially at Southern Illinois University, finishing here in Phoenix. Dr. Dewanjee is fellowship trained in orthopedic sports medicine having completed his fellowship at Oasis Sports Medical Group.
Dr. Dewanjee is a Diplomate with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, a Fellow with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.
In addition to Phoenix Spine and Joint, Dr. Dewanjee sees patients at his private clinic on the south side of Tempe Town Lake at 1215 W. Rio Salado Parkway in Tempe, AZ.
